We were 2 people in a 4 person Hitop. Excellent, reliable vehicle in very good condition and certainly economical. Sparkling clean interior! ! Very well equipped with everything you needed. Sufficient cupboard space and room to store soft fold up bags behind the seats and in the extra bed space above the cabin (don’t travel with wheelie cases). Linen, pillows and towels were excellent quality in tasteful matching colour and design, all in sealed plastic bags. Comfortable bed however, we would’ve preferred a different configuration where the bed is at the back allowing better access in and out of the side door. The back door is unable to be opened from the inside so it was difficult to come and go from that door. Easier if you can leave the bed made up sometimes but not quite as convenient if side access is taken up with the bed. The table was also a bit unstable, balancing merely on a centre pole. Otherwise all good!
Drives well. The inside set up not good. You can’t even boil the kettle without setting smoke alarms off.
Excellent van. Ran well.
We received a free upgrade to a Cruisin Hitop- which was very comfortable. We used the roof sleeping area as storage not for sleep. We honestly had the best holiday- it was clean, we gave it all a wipe over at the start but that was more for our own peace of mind. The layout was ok it’s only a small campervan so it is cramped but honestly for the two of us it was perfect. Our only compliant was the cushions really had an awful smell.. when I mentioned this, the guy at the drop off asked if I had called to tell them- and I hadn’t! So I’m not quite sure what would have happened to remedy the situation but I get the feeling they would have been very willing to help- my fault for not thinking to call. Just keep in mind the condensation in Tasmania is epic- so pack up and air all your bedding. We saw many cruis’n campervans on our travels! Would def hire through them again!
We spent almost 4 weeks in a Cruisin Hightop in the Cairns area The van was clean and safe: good tyres and low mileage. We were upgraded to a 4 person van and used the second mattress for a comfier sleep. Some slight internal cabin wear which is to be expected. All cooking and eating utensils were quite adequate. Clean bedding and towels.
Vehicle was well presented and worked fine
Great vehicle to drive and suited our holiday experience of Tasmania. Only issue I had with the campervan is that the battery system did not keep the fridge running when parked up, off grid, so had some food wastage. Apart from that, totally enjoyed the experience and freedom of the camper.
Small basic vehicle. But served us well for what we needed. A little tight for space, as expected from this size vehicle. Once we had converted between night and day layout each day and re packed our page the space was great. But did need to rearrange each time to be able to enjoy it properly.
Vehicle ran great. Pick up and drop we simple procedures. We picked up at Melbourne and were ment to drop it off back in Melbourne. However due to Covid NSW borders were shut off and we couldn’t get back through from QLD. This ment we had to drop it off in QLD. The change of location fee was not waived. They were still discounted but even still. Returning it 2 days early with no refund on those days combined with being charged to drop it off in Brisbane because we didn’t have another choice was disappointing in an already stressful situation. A little compassion would have gone a long way.
Awesome campervan to spend a week on it...
Everything was wonderful and in working order. Great layout. I had an absolute ball. One small issue the fridge door kept coming open. I’m sure the issue was fixed on return of the van. I highly recommend this Vehicle
Van was really good. Drove well, quality bedding, kitchen stuff etc.
Van was in great condition and great size to get around in and had everything we needed. Staff were friendly and prompt with their service also. We won’t get one that small again or with the same layout as I hit my head constantly on the kitchen area on the low cupboard over the sink
