Maui Platinum Forest

We were upgraded to Maui 6 berth van. The van had only traveled 600km prior to our rental. Unfortunately the van broke down and we had a 11/2 day unscheduled stop to have it fixed. There were many little things involving screws coming loose around the van which indicated the van was not built for Australian rougher roads. We (all6!) found the van extremely comfortable and enjoyed having all the cooking and sleeping gear provided. I would suggest perhaps having the passengers seated at the back of the van instead of behind the driver so that they can have a better view of the country side.

upgraded to Maui6 berth. great except someone forgot to show us video - we were 1st timers. Had a few difficulties, like hot water so did not use shower. Loved this mode of travel and would do it again

Great vehicle (VW 2.5D), does accommodate 6 OK. All features as advertised however when fully loaded, fuel consumption more like 18L/100km.

Very comfortable, spacious vehicle. All our needs were catered for, even clothes pegs and a line, that emphasised how well the vehicle was kitted out. I would highly recomend Discovery campervans to family and friends.

Vehicle performed extremely well. Was very comfotable and of a good size for 2 adults and 2 teenagers, it would however be to cramped for six.

Very comfy for 4 persons Would replace the velcrose on the curtains for tie back
