Great vehicle, easy to pack up and got us to the places we wanted to go in Tasmania.
Hot plate didnt work on one hot plate. Otherwise was great.
Everything you need for comfort and adventure! Warm, relatively spacious, good bed. Water tank is small so make sure to fill up regularly! A really great way to get around in Tasmania.
Great experience van not really suit for twin share double bed comfy but single ok for small chid not adult. Next time we are planing a bigger suitable van. No complains
Loved the layout of the van.. it took a little while to get used to the buffering when driving . But was lovely to have bed made up each night .
Mosquitoes seemed to live in the camper. Paper towels would have been nice. Otherwise it was very good.
Amazing experience, made so much better by the easy and helpful team at discovery campervans. Highly recommend, will be using them again in the future
It was a very pleasant experience. Booking was easy. Staff were prompt and very helpful. Car was clean and everything worked. We will definitely recommend and look forward to doing this again - next time in NZ! The only thing we could not figure out was how to unlock the back door from the inside of the cabin
Just found the back stairs hard to navigate when carrying something
Very comfortable and reliable
The vehicle was in good condition, very clean and well serviced. It met all of our expectations. Of note the fuel consumption was a little higher than expected but acceptable given the style of van.
Camper: good accomodation for two, generally very comfortable. Vehicle: good economy, very rough suspension, need to avoid travelling over 90 mph. Cannot believe Toyota hadn’t fitted even most basic form of central locking?
The Hilux was great and clean as a whistle. The reversing beeper was too loud. We had a great time.
poor entry steps
Home on Wheels! Suited us perfectly and was easy to drive. Comfortable interior with plenty of storage space.
Very practical van and well equipped for its size. Hertz were excellent. All equipment was working and clean. Instructions were good. Pick-up and hand back was very easy and helpful.
On the whole was very good. However no provision for hanging towels (would be easy to install rails on side of cupboard next to seating), and no provision for storage of suitcases (make storage box under seating same width as seat and cases would fit). It was quite annoying to have suitcases in the way all the time.
