Rating : 3 Everything was great but because we came from Australia the bedding was not adequate, ended up buying a couple od quilts.
Rating : 3 Roof leaked
Front RH tyre questionably roadworthy
Table edgings broken in two places
Radio ceased to function.
Maui policy re access to tourist sites on formed short gavel roads is very restrictive.
Over-priced when compared with similar vans from other companies.
Mechanically reliable.
Rating : 4 The Maui have very new and relyable vehicle. The equipment on board is very good and you do need anything else.
Inside would be a good idea to create more place to put little objects.
The fuel tank is quite small you just keep refilling quite often.
You can avoid to pay for extra like the outside curtain because you can hardly set up ....also is ridiculous that you have pay for an extra chair and table.
They ask you to bring the van back "not too dirty" (otherwise you have to pay for a final cleaning) wich in Western Australia is impossible the send just go everywhere !
I meant the amount of money we payed was quite enough for this silliness.
Rating : 2 The vehicle itself was fine and the kitchen was well equipped. However the arrangements for conversion of the living space to a bed were atrocious. Maui needs to see how current modern vans are fitted out.
Rating : 3
Rating : 5 New and modern with everything you need for a comfortable trip. Loved it!
Rating : 3 Excellent for 2 people with the only downside was the fridge. It cycled on and off every 10 minutes during the night even when turned down to minimum (very annoying). The fridge was mounted inside a cupboard with insufficient ventilation causing overheating of the cooling coils. Best fuel average was 8Klm per liter. Glove box lid was broken and drivers seat-belt was frayed (probably not roadworthy).
Rating : 4 I was "upgraded" to a Maui. It was great to drive, comfortable with clear vision. Kept the bed made up all the time therefore not much storage space, otherwise well appointed. Bed was comfortable.
Rating : 4 A perfect way to get around; an easy to drive and comfortable van. It had a well maintained kitchen and plenty of space for all of our belongings. It was worth the extra money.
My tip would be to get the outside table and set up the bed permanently inside. The upstairs bed has a thin mattress and no head room.
