Cheapa 4WD Camper

Excellent

Loved sleeping in the top of the van with the side ventilation - great when very hot. Plus it was easy to drive much better than other medium size vans we have hired.

For off road, this was the ideal vehicle. We loved the external storage areas and the ease of setting up for the night.

The camper travelled along well. We had no problems mechanically or with tyres. Everything was easy to manage and accessible. There was a few little things that needed to be attended to which we left a note. They would be fixed before the next people come along.

Overall the campervan was pretty nice and in very good condition. The company gave us an incomplete tire changing kit...bad news when you are in remote areas. I would check the safety/emergency equipment for yourself rather than trust the company has done it.

We would definitely use again. A shame that the off-road allowance was so tight. Perhaps you could pre-qualify some drivers (experienced 4wd owners) to go on the "challenging" tracks, like into Jim-Jim falls.
