Very happy with the vehicle. No mechanical problems, fuel usage good. Clean and in reasonable condition. A rubber door mat would be good and a bucket that fits under the van for the sink water.
Everything we needed was thought of for us
Very good vehicle & services. We had been upgraded to a Britz campervan with exactly the same layout as the backpacker nomad. We did notice that we had to fill up the water tank for the sink daily. Maybe it had a leak??
Fantastic, it was 1 yr old. Great condition very impressed. Britz threw in a free awning and ground mat which we really appreciated as it rained on a few day.
Includes everything you can think of and more. The only negative point was the old looking slightly dirty cutlery..
vehicle was adequate for 2 people, bit cramped at times, but otherwise fine. Fridge rather noisy and had to switch it off at night to sleep.
Fantastic all round!
Very happy to find a Deisel Britz Hitop when collecting the vehicle (according to the website Deisels were not an option) Vehicle was comfortable and all crockery/cutlery/bedding was clean and in good repair. Was disappointed that the fridge external vents were covered in red dust and curtains were very dusty.
Unit did not miss a beat and we were pleased with the equipment supplied which met all of our requirements.
Vehicle was perfect for a road trip. Equipped with essentials and plenty of cupboard space. We had a diesel engine and got great milage. Would like basic chairs included in rental next time.
The Britz HiTop was excellent for 2 people and comfortable enough for 3. The interior was clean and presentable and satisfied all of our needs for a 6-week roadtrip. This vehicle does not have set luggage space so we did have to move bags around to the front when using the main cabin at campsites. Overall an excellent vehicle.
We had enough place for 2 people.
was not impressed with compulsory upgrade because the vehicle ordered was not in yard - otherwise good
Everything was satisfactory although there was no washing up detergent, scourer or wash cloth included in the kitchen. The mattresses on the beds were not very comfortable, Must be getting old!!Otherwise everything was all good. many thanks Sally
Completely suited our needs, only drawback was stability on the road in windy conditions
Yes we had the use of a small britz van, it was suitable for two adults and one child. Manual vehicle, and drove very easily. Found to be economical with the fuel, getting us around Tasmania safely with no issues.Found the seating wich made up to a bed surprisingly comfortable. Also using the vehical in the later part of May with the cooler weather, we had a heater, but found we did not need to use this as we were warm and comfortable in the vehical in the evenings.
fantastic vehicle for what we wanted, the beds are comfy, the fridge and mircowave were used all the time, the cooker was brilliant and its very handy having a sink as well. i would definatly recomend this camper van to anyone! Would not use for 3 people though only 2. The price, Petrol and comfort is definatly 10/10!
excellent, clean and new, sleeping bags great
My partner and I had a great time in tazzie. Our camper took us everywhere we wanted to go. We cooked meals every night and slept very well.
VEHICLE IS EXCELLENT CONDITION - NO PROBLEMS OTHER THAN TOASTER FAILING MID-TRIP OK WHEN WEATHER FINE BUT BIT OF A HOBBIT HOLE IF RAINING ALL DAY AND NOT DRIVING
upgraded to a Britz pop top campervan. Auto, easy to drive, fairly new. Excellent vehicle and accessories
Great campervan, provided everything we needed for a trip around Tassie!
This was great, there were just a few things. We found a dirty sock in the van,the electric jug leaked water nI thnk the extra chairs sould be provided free and a step for older travellers would be helpful.
Vehicle was great for one person and I think two people would be fine as well. I would not recommend for 2 adults plus a child. A side awning that rolls out would be a nice option so one could easily create a covered space for dining, etc.
Very clean, detailed like a new vehicle. Almost scared to use it. Performed 100%.
I am use to Hiace vehicles and felt very at home in our lovely rental....no hassles with the vehicle at any point of our 7 day Tasmania holiday. Thankyou
Everything we needed. One vent had a broken screen so vehicle got quite dusty. Water collection bucket did not fit under van to collect waste water. Took more than a week to get refund on security deposit.
There is no secure place to attached a child seat who has to sit in the front. There should be a clip to attached the seat to for security. The vehicle was fine for the three of us - 2 adults one child. I mentioned to the Britz rental area that what would be a wonderful addition is a screen for the back of the unit to snap on, velcro on, somehow attach to allow air flow through the unit at night while you are sleeping.
Went like a dream and quite economical.
Brand new in tip top condition
We where very happy with the Britz Hitop. We had a worry free holiday knowing that we had a good car to rely on. Thank you for your friendly service!
We absolutely liked the camper van, although the top sleeping place was a bit cramped for our tall 12 year old,but he survived!Great way of traveling, find a nice spot and have a coffee ready within 5 minutes. We certainly do it again. Thanks Britz.Hiske Wassink Cooma
Very comfortable bed downstairs! Impossible for an adult to sleep upstairs! The bed is too attached to the ceiling and not long enough! Be only 2 of us ig was perfect to use the space for storage though! We did not have a single problem with the campervan! It has been reliable all the times and cheap to run! 60 dollars 250 to 300 km! I was very happy with the fact that I could stand inside and was great for cooking while it rained! We did not get wet as some other campervan I looked into had a back kitchen and low ceiling! All was easy to use and great car to drive! Thanks to all the staff that was kind and friendly!
Vehicle was excellent - brand new! Service from you guys was very good too - no complaints!
Last year I had it for 8 days I think it was. End of march to beginning of april. It was a very nice car to drive and no problems on the way. Had to fill it up with fuel though, hehe. I was very satified with the car. Also, even if I had to drive on the "wrong" side of the road, hehe. So very good. I am planning to go to Australia and do the same trip to Canberra, But maybe next time. I will have you in my mind. WALTER SWENSEN from Norway.
Vehicle - clean condition with very neat fittings. only downside was the tyre alignment was not good, driving thru open fields was shaky. Booking process - simple Welcome reception & orientation to campervan - the DVD tutorial very nice touch.
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in the van. It took a day to get a system organized as far as cases and we had to buy a fan, as we were not used to the heat overnight. The vehicle was reliable and great fun
Overall the vehicle was good. We had a battery problem the first day but that was sorted out. As we were phoning on the mobile we would have appreciated a call back. The other problem we had was the floor mats in the front of the van were polished and very slipperly and dangerous. We borrowed some mats to make it more safe and comfortable. We have hired vans before and they have had a small portions of tea coffee detergent to get you through the first night until you get to the shops. None of that was in this van althought available for purchase. Apart from that all was fine and the van drove nicely.
Even Though we had booked a Backpacker Nomad, our booking was upgraded to a Britz Campervan (less than 3 year old vehicle). This was an unexpected bonus, it performed faultlessly and economically.
A bit small but we did OK. Easy to drive. A brief overview of Australian insurance/bond issues for renting a vehicle would be good. I felt like I was "hustled" into a large amount of coverage that I am not sure I needed. It is VERY different from other countries insurance. It adds a huge $$ to an otherwise reasonable rental.
the water tank was to small.
Great little vehicle, got us where we wanted to go.
Reliable vehicle, fuel effecient Easy to drive. Ensure a comprehensive service check of the vehicle prior to letting Ensure that vehicle is properly cleaned inside prior to letting
We found it very reliable, very well equipped, very comfortable (front seats and the bed). It was a pleasure to drive - nice to be so high off the road - better views of the countryside.
No real issues with the camper van. It was easy to drive however with the fixed high roof the extra wind resistance meant that the fuel economy was not very good and fuel in the outback is expensive!
The vehicle was in very good condition and the size was suitable for the two of us. We probably would go for the next size up and air con throughout next time as the nights were hot.
The hill top was great to drive, and enough room for two people realy easy to get around ,only problem due to the hot conditions 30 pluse around Kakado at night you realy need air conditioning to make a little bit more comfortable to sleep. This should have been sugested.
All you need is in the van, only pillows a bit flat. Claen, tidy and easy to drive,we`ll think it`s the best way to go on holiday.
Had drips of water coming through the roof. The van drove beautifully and quite economical on fuel.
the vehicle was really good, almost new very clean inside and outside everything was very very very good . we had the best holiday
Adequately equipted clean & tidy although heavy on fuel access under bunk doors or draws installed at rear to make access easier for electrical cable etc would be an advantage open out ward.
didnt have nomad had a britz instead. Booking process excellent and same when we brought camper back. didnt get to use camper facilities as we were staying with relatives at a house and only used it for getting around and sleeping but we would definately like to do a campervan holiday again later and use it properly
very good and reliable. more secure fitting for items on bench. would have liked mirrow lower.
