7 Reviews for Britz Safari Landcruiser

No problems except back tyres were poor and needed to be replaced.
The Toyota roof top camper we collected in Broome was in excellent condition with all camping gear in good order. The vehicle was relatively new, and we had a trouble free trip along the Gibb River Road and the Kalumburu Road, travelling on to Lake Argyle and Katherine before depositing the vehicle in Darwin. Was good for three adults with medium bags. Would recommend without hesitation.
Vehicle had low km and was less than a year old. Easy to drive, robust and well equipped. Comfortably slept 4 adults.
Bit tight for space with four adults and a two year old but we were very well organised after a couple of days. The lower tent had four spaces in the area where it joins the van into which flew the biting beasties. This was solved by grey stick on tape and various socks etc
Perfect for our needs! Comfortable bed and everything we needed included. Would be less convenient if you wanted to stay multiple nights in the same place (due to needing to pack up each day to use the car) but was not an issue for our short trip. However the set up & pack up is very easy - can be done by just one person in 15-20 minutes.
I miss the amazing vehicle and it did not give us a moments trouble. Fridge was a little smelly as if Ice cream had gone off in it and ladder needed repairing which made it difficult to put tent up every night. However these were minor complaints as everything else to do with vehicle was spot on.
Great vehicle, was new and reliable, but was missing some basic items i.e. only has one drink holder for front seat, no map pockets etc. There were no ropes or pegs for rooftop tent, annex and awning. The awning was missing a connection piece making it difficult to set up.
