Fine - no problems at all
Great for 2 people for a short trip
In Winter may need to go for ensuite larger vans for convenience-
good fuel economy
friendly service and clean camper
we were upgraded to a tourer what a great camper.felt very special
Absolutely happy with the Apollo Hitop and all of its facilities. I cannot speak more highly of the quality and excellent standard the vehicle was in.
we realy enjoyed the freedom the van gave us to explore out of the way places and stay where we wanted
we were camping out in bush camps through tasmania and a thicker blanket would have been appreciated
good vehicle, small enough to park anywhere.Drives like a car, A bit cosy for two to move around in but thats what this size van is for.
great vehicle, reasonably well laid out
Good vehicle which motored along very well. Suited for 2 people fine but would have been a squeeze with 3. Inverter needed to be switched off at night as it was too noisy to sleep with switched on, perhaps a fault which needed fixing. Otherwise no problems.
The compactness of the vehicle was really nice. It was neat and tidy and very easy to keep clean. The doors on the cupboards rattled when driving is the only fault I could find.
Loved the Ford. Lovely vehicle to drive however a few rattles in the cupboard doors. Excellent fuel consumption.
fantastic vehicle plenty of power clean easy to drive
vehicle and service both good.
staff friendly and helpful.
vehicle and utensils both clean and sevicable.
few small things like fly screens and edging to benches needed attention.
We loved having 3 seats in the front as we were 2 adults and a child. The arrangement of seats and beds and cupboards was good but it does take a few days to work out your system of where to put everything and of course dont bring suitcases.Ask for a fan as hot at beginning of nights with just a few windows having mossie mesh but cooled down nicely as the night wore on.Also make sure that the fridge thermostat is on high enough settijng when you first fill it.
It brought us a wonderful holiday, while the bedding smells not very well and may need refresh.BTW, Australia is the best place to travel with the campervans.
A nice, new vehicle. Well equipped for a vehicle of this class. Being hassle-free it made our trip a real pleasure.
Highly recommended
The van was very clean and the facilities were good. The supplies were impresive too and would certainly use this company again
very comfortable driving and sleeping, well fitted out but a bit cramped for 2 for cooking, washing up etc. A bigger vehicle next time.
This was a brand new van and in perfect condition. It was ideal for 2 people. Everything that we needed was present. The only reason I do not rate it 5 star is the fairly heavy fuel consumption and the awkward access to fridge
comfortable and without any problems
As we were 3 travelling ,we enjoyed the fact that we could all sit in the front together.I wish we had been offered a fan as without aircon the first part of the nights were very sticky and hot.I gather there are some available but no one mentionned this on collection.
good everithing was plessant.
Vehicle was good.
Having some Power for charging mobile phones while not at a powered site would be the icing on the cake.It would have been very useful, if the Cairns Office had given us the good guide to caravan parks, sights along the way etc. which they had in Brisbane (which was at the end of our tour where it was of no use to us).
Van was nice and new and a pleasure to drive. As expected, space was at a premium so we were glad we packed light.
Compact, soft luggage was easy to find space for.
We had a great trip and loved our apollo hitop! Driving around in it for 10 days made us realise a couple of things: we did not need the microwave and instead would have found a bigger fridge and sink more useful and a water gauge to show when you need to re-fill the tank would be great.
Great camper, as new (1400 km) went well, seats comfy, easy to drive, great compact set up.
Vehicle went well, good on fuel, comfortable to drive.
However it was to big to park anywhere & due to no height rescrition sticker it was difficult at times.
Very good compact campervan, well-equipped, clean and relatively new. Easy to drive and comfortable. Only downside were the maps provided. All the pages relevant to our trip were stuck together by chocolate and other gunge!
Vehicle was good and easy to drive with the right gearing for the Tasmanian roads.
Vehicle had every thing we needed.
I personally will get a larger van when we go back to tasmania to see what we missed this time.
Optional equipment (table and chairs) need to be checked and in better condition. 240 volt Electric equipment need to be tested and tagged as the toaster in one van had a earth short and the jug in my van leaked water.
Clean, well designed conversion and good to drive
Small and compact, easy to drive, everything you neeed. Only downside no storage so pack light ! Great little cheap camper
A delight to drive in terms of responsive steering, turning circle and rear vision for this type of vehicle. Size and location of the fridge was a drawback but not sure how this can be overcome without sacrificing storage space etc. Double bed was comfortable and cross ventilation was also more than adequate. The third bed, which was utilised by our 11 year old grandaughter, was given the thumbs up by her but was a bit of a pain to assemble on a daily basis. However, given the cost of upgrading to a larger campervan, it certainly served its purpose. Cooktop, sink etc worked well so no complaints in this department.
Suggest that a longer water hose is warranted. Our hose was two to three metres in length. This was inadequate for most of the sites we had at various caravan parks. This was in terms of the location of their taps relative to the cement pads and the location of the inlet on the van. Another 1-2 metres would have been usefull. Tap fittings were provided but no adapter for the larger diametre thread on some caravan park taps. Only one other comment; the instruction manual in the van, while it provided information on the location of the 240 volt inverter, did not include the location for this particular van. For some reason one of our appliances caused the inverter to trip out so it took a while and a phone call to your help line to eventually find out that it was located under the bed.
Vehicle was a pleasure ,however humming sound from under seat was irritating during night hours.
Vehicle performed well. I had to be conscious of low tree branches etc given the height of the van. We struggled with the table inside the vehicle but everything was good.
Performed well in all conditions
Very comfertable, new campervan.
Everything was very clean...
vehicle excellent to drive. option to hire an esky would have been excellent as no facilities provided to keep drinks cold. A door mat also was needed.
Nice modern vehicle and good service from the local agent in Alice Springs when we had a stone crack the windscreen.
We did hire older campervans in both Australia and New Zealand - and they we of course cheaper!

We found the Apollo Hitop 2.5 berth to be a very comfortable alround campervan for two small size adults. We have hired larger vans but found the size cumbersome in some situations compared to the Hitop. Recommend it as a good all round veichle.
it was a great design for the small amount of space of a van.
the only improvement i can think of is the cutlery draws and cupdoard doors would open by themsleves whislt the vehicle was moving on the road. other than that, again good design for limited space.
cheers
Juan
The vehicle was fine but i had some problem with backup service when the fridge was OOS it was explained to me you had a staff issue which effectively cost me 3 days and a lot of aggro which you did try to compensate me for,but your staffing should not have affeted me.Also cruise control would be a blessing next time i hire also it may save your vehicles a bit of wear. Thanks
We found this vehicle a little to small nowhere to hang any clothes and you needed to stand outside the vehicle to see into the fridge and the cupboards - have had better designed vehicles before. The comfort in the cabin was fine and vehicle traveled well.
