A former penal colony, Hobart is Australia's second oldest city and is steeped in history. Old heritage buildings and distinctive architecture
add to the character of the place, and provide endless sightseeing opportunities in the city itself. If your a nature fan, then head to the Royal
Tasmanian Botanical Gardens and take in some of the hundreds of flower species spread throughout the expansive gardens. Hobart is
essentially a port city, and the waterfront here is a chief attraction to tourists. Lined with plenty of restaurants and bars you can kick back and
watch the port activities during the day, and then let loose and party during the evening before you retire to your campervan for the evening.
